This site is dedicated to the preservation of Classical Okinawan Budo.  RyuTe^® is passed down from Okinawa's ancient masters through Taika Seiyu Oyata, founder of RyuTe RenMei^®/Oyata Shin Shu Ho Ryu^®.

Taika  Oyata has revealed a unique and precious art that developed in the islands of the Ryukyus that was in integral part of their culture and history.  This art and the people of the Ryukyu islands have made a profound influence on the world.

From the art of weapons, to the art of empty hand, Taika Oyata revealed the mysteries that opened the culture and wisdom of the people of Okinawa to inspire future generations.
